Department of Computer Science and Information Technology

Since the inception of our programs in 1994, we have trained cohorts of computer scientists and information technology specialists to be the driving force of Thailand’s digital economy. Many of our outstanding graduates are active in both academia and industry. Our alumni work in higher-educational institutions throughout the country. The first female Firebase Google Developer Expert in Asia graduated from CSIT NU.  Our faculty members came from top institutions in Thailand, Australia, UK, and USA. They have contributed to advance scientific knowledge by publishing in highly prestigious peer-reviewed journals at publishers including ACM, IEEE, and PLOS.

Department of Computer Science and Information Technology is dedicated to research and innovation development by focusing on modern technology with outstanding research, such as; internet of Things (IoT), geographic information technology (GIS), big data management and Artificial intelligence (Big data and Ai), Mobile Application Development and on various platforms. The department is pushing and promoting personnel and students to have knowledge, research capability and innovation, which is effective at meeting the needs of communities and the nation as a key force of development in the digital age of Thailand 4.0.
